Violet Flowers Confit

Violet Flowers confit, made by L'epicurien, is created using the finest violets grown just outside of Nice, France. Made without coloring, the fresh slightly floral sweet taste of this confit makes it the perfect addition to any cheese or appetizer plate.

Enjoy confit of violet flowers with foie gras, poultry and other white meats. Use it as a pleasantly floral sweetener for hot tea. Spread this special violet jelly on toast, muffins or scones. Serve with custard or on a panna cotta. Blend with whipped cream or frosting. Use to top cheesecake or as a special layer when making cake. Add subtle violet flavor to yogurt or spoon over ice cream.
