Earl Grey Lavender Black Tea

This twist on the classic Earl Grey balances the floral qualities of lavender with the citrus tang of bergamot. Classic Earl Grey tea is a very aromatic black tea blend, originally made with Chinese black tea and oil of bergamot. Bergamot is a citrus fruit from a rather obscure branch of the orange family that grows around the Mediterranean. Because Bergamot is very bitter, it is rarely eaten fresh but adds a wonderful aroma and citrus tang when added to tea.  Each cup of Earl Grey Lavender black tea is very aromatic with a pronounced silkiness. A fresh treat to be enjoyed hot or cold any time of year.

 To create a quick London Fog, just brew, add a little sweetener, a splash of vanilla and some frothed milk. Jolly Good!

 Ingredients: black tea, lavender, natural flavor, cornflower. Contains caffeine. Packaged as a loose-leaf tea, 4 ounces brews approximately 38 cups of tea.
