Coriander, Ground

Coriander is the seed of the cilantro plant. Native to the Mediterranean and Middle East, coriander has been used for flavoring since ancient times.

With its sweet citrus taste and light balsamic aroma, ground coriander flavors candies, cookies, cake and apple pie. Add flavor to rice pudding, bread pudding and custards. Use in curry, marinades for meat and in poultry stuffing. Mix ground coriander with cumin to flavor Tex-Mex dishes.
