Badia a Coltibuono is a first press, cold press, extra virgin olive oil which is very low in acidity (.22%), golden yellow in color with strong green nuances. Badia a Coltibuono, produced since 1058 in the hills of Gaiole in Chianti just outside of Siena, was the first Tuscan extra virgin olive oil to be marketed in America.
