Pebeyre Black Truffle Oil is a "finishing oil" and is rarely used during cooking. Made with black truffles and sunflower oil, black truffle oil has a stronger taste then white truffle oil, so it is best when paired with meats, sauces, or casseroles. Delicious drizzled over pasta and risotto dishes, mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes. It also makes an exceptional vinaigrette. Toss Black Truffle Oil with macaroni and cheese. Sprinkle it over parmesan french fries or popcorn.
Pierre Pebeyre created his company in 1897 in a small village north of La Chapelle Mareuil to sell the specialties of the region, including truffles, throughout France. Net Wt 8.3oz/250ml
